Norwell continue to provide technical assistance to ONGC/ Novodrill with drilling engineering and personnel support for ultra deepwater operations in Indian waters with a 6th generation drillship. Five exploration wells have now been drilled since commencing operations in July 2009 in water depths upto 2574m.

Norwell sponsored athlete Fraser Cartmell won his first race of the season at the South African 70.3 Half Ironman (1.2mile swim, 56mile cycle, 13.1mile run) in East London in time of 4hrs 7minutes.
