Norwell are providing Technical Assistance to ONGC / Novodrill with drilling engineering and personnel support for deepwater operations in Indian waters with a 6th generation deepwater drill-ship, drilling exploration wells in water depths to 3000m. Water depth for all wells exceeds 2000m. Norwell has now managed and been an integral part of 25 deepwater wells in India alone. The deepest water depth well was 3003m.
Norwell are currently drilling the first of two exploration land wells in DR Congo for SOCO E&P.
Planning and procurement continuing on an offshore exploration well for Midia Resources in the Black Sea.
Initial well planning commenced for an appraisal well offshore Netherlands for Ascent resources.
Engineering design and long lead procurement has commenced for further wells offshore Congo.
